Story
After many years of fighting it, I’ve finally taken up the challenge to do something I said I would never do! Run a marathon.
I have gained a place in the 2013 New York Marathon through Amnesty International Australia. As a result, I need to fundraise to make this amazing experience happen. The money raised will help Amnesty International Australia continue their work defending human rights.
I’m looking to raise $9000 before the start of the race on 3 November 2013 – no mean feat. To do so, I’m really relying on the generosity of my friends and family. A donation of $50 or $100 would really be appreciated. Remember, it’s good karma and is fully tax deductible.
I will be keeping everyone on Facebook and Twitter up to date with my progress and will happily give massive shout-outs and spruik businesses that wish to make larger contributions.
